CHANGES TO YOUR HOUSE FAIRIES
COMMENCING MONDAY MARCH 4, 2019

1.  YOUR HOUSE FAIRIES is going natural.

You will be using a new line of products that are natural and supplied by the company, not the client (unless permission is given by the office to allow the use of the client's products). The products you will be using are a natural glass cleaner, natural all purpose and a natural non abrasive dry scrub and natural dish soap.  When needed, specialty products will be added such as olive oil for polishing stainless, grout cleaner and vinegar for hard water homes (this will be decided by the office and only included in your cleaning bag on the days needed).

You have had an opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the 3 main products for a week and half so it should be an easy transition moving away from the products you were using.  If you have not made the time to familiarize yourself with them, I suggest this weekend you take the time to do so.

If you have any questions about the products, please do not hesitate to get in touch by text (226.378.2750) or email (aprilandersonconsulting@gmail.com or through a message at our Facebook group page.  You must request to join as it is a secret group.  If you have any issues send me your email and I will invite you to join.  It is important to join as soon as possible as the first manual is available there for you to study this weekend.

2. Ingrid, the owner of YOUR HOUSE FAIRIES has a new role

Ingrid will no longer be cleaning, unless absolutely necessary.  Her role at Your House Fairies is to grow the business.  At the moment she is also responsible for training and supervising but this will change as more clients and employees come aboard and she is able to offer these roles to those in the Your House Fairies family who show initiative and are looking to advance within the company.

3.  The Company Vehicles will be retiring

Unfortunately the vehicles that are being used are spending more and more time in the shop to ensure you are safe while driving them.  As of Monday March 4, 2019 Your House Fairies will be offering 55 cents per kilometer to take care of the maintenance, gas, insurance etc. of your vehicle while it is being used during your scheduled day of cleaning.  The team of 2 can alternate the use of their vehicles if they prefer.

4. YOUR HOUSE FAIRIES is changing up the way we schedule our cleans

We are no longer scheduling teams of 3 and 4 unless necessary (an example would be to accommodate too many homes scheduled on one day so you would start with a team of 3 or 4 on the first clean).  For now, there will be a team of 2 (Rebecca and Melissa) and a solo cleaning tech (Tamara).  As we get more clients that solo position will change into a team of 2.

5. YOUR HOUSE FAIRIES is changing up the way we clean

The team of 2 will now follow the WET/DRY method

WET - Bathrooms, Kitchen, Laundry Room, Washing Floors
DRY - Dusting, Vacuuming, 1/2 bathroom and Laundry Room if WET has more than 1 full bathroom to clean, Washing floors if done vacuuming before

Rotate the WET/DRY between scheduled homes that day and rotate when you go back to the homes.

Solo Cleaner - No rules - just find your best flow to give the client a superior clean.

You will be learning a new way of cleaning through the manuals that will be uploaded every week on the Friday.  You are expected to read them over the weekend and start implementing the new cleaning techniques on the Monday after.  Within 90 days you will be using all of the new methods described in the manuals.  If you have any questions at all pertaining to the new methods please reach out.

6.  You will receive  AN UNPAID 1/2 HOUR BREAK every scheduled day (as requested during our meeting on Tuesday February 26, 2019)

You can take 1 half hour break, 2 15 min breaks or 3 10 minute breaks but you must sign out and sign back in so the office is aware of the breaks.  This is a perfect time to have lunch, take a walk, or sit and enjoy a coffee.  For the solo cleaner working in a home for more than 5 hours, you may take that 1/2 hour break part way through cleaning the home and you may leave the home during that time.

7.  Suggestions are awesome.

If you have a great idea for creating a better end result for the client share your idea.  Who knows it just might be the best thing for the company!  If you have an issue, voice it, but only with a  possible solution. A constructive voice allows for a positive conversation.
