1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup finely grated cheese
3 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 1/4 cups water
Preheat oven to 300 F. Coat a baking sheet with vegetable oil or butter
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal, cheese, flaxseed and parsley. Pour in the water and mix thoroughly to form a dough. Flour a clean surface and roll out the dough on it. Cut the dough into shapes using a floured cookie cutter. Use a spatula to transfer the biscuits to the baking sheet.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until the biscuits are lightly browned.
Cool the biscuits on the tray and store them in an airtight container.
